Bold with notes of berries
It is produced with grenache grapes.
The grapes are left to dry in two stages: the first on the vine and then in a well aired drying room.
Vinification is carried out traditionally, with initial fermentation with the skins for 4/5 days, followed by the separation of the skins from the must, which carries on fermenting for 60/70 days. Bottling happens about one year after pressing.
The colour is red/orange with a strong bitter cherry and raspberry flavour, which goes perfectly with cakes made with berries and red fruit jam.
SLOW FOOD described this wine as special and interesting.
